The Coat and Sweater ministry was implemented for the purpose of reaching out to people that need help and to encourage them to come to church. On a quarterly basis, we hold a give away to benefit those less fortunate than ourselves. We minister to them by talking about the goodness of the Lord and giving out reading materials (Bible tracts). God has truly blessed this ministry in the way He has supplied us with so many clothing iteMrs. Through his blessings, we have been able to help so many people in the Shaw Community and in surrounding shelters.
